Located in the heart of the popular holiday region Gitschberg Val Giovo, in our chalets, in summer and winter, you may spend a truly perfect active holiday. The alpine region offers a variety of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, skiing, snowshoeing or tobogganing. The Val Giovo valley station is just 250 meters from the Chalet Leitner. In the winter, you just put your skis on and off you go. In the summer, many hiking trails are within walking distance. If you’re looking for culture and city sightseeing, you may always take a trip to Bressanone, Chiusa, Vipiteno or Brunico – cities you may easily reach thanks to our central location in South Tyrol. Furthermore, as a resident of your own vacation home, you will always feel independent and fully enjoy the comfortable ambiance of your uniquely situated South Tyrol chalet.
Our Chalet Leitner is picturesquely situated at the end of the Valles Valley on a slope at 1,400 m near the village of Valles. Forest surrounds the fields. Quaint larches offer shade, tend in the wind, provide a splash of colour in the fall and a cosy feeling in winter. The nearby stream is your constant companion. There are no immediate neighbours, thus, you’ll enjoy paradisiacal calm and a fabulous view into the valley. Sometimes animals from the forest venture close to your chalet, and you may admire shy deer, foxes and rabbits – a first greeting from a magnificent nature that surrounds you. You are in the heart of the expansive hiking and skiing area of the holiday region Gitschberg Val Giovo. If you just want to relax, unwind, and indulge wonderful impressions, just drift away. Even for our little guests, there is plenty to discover around our chalets in Valles. There is always something going on at the farm Leitnerhof. The children can make friends with the farm animals, romp freely on the playground, whiz across the meadows on a sleigh in the winter, build a dam in the summer, hop in the hay or read on the sun terrace and relax. Refreshment is provided by the in-house spring.
